Better Than Perfect

The Verdict

Tell us what happened. We'll tell you what we think.

Send John and Nicole your situation. Each week they pick real ones and answer them on the show: his take, her take, and where they land. You get a straight answer, even when it's the one you were hoping not to hear.

We never say it on the show.

So we can tell you if we pick yours.

A few sentences is enough. Tell it the way you'd tell a friend who won't lie to you.

Before you send

We can't answer every one. We read every one.

We got it.

Check your inbox in a few minutes for an episode close to what you told us. If it isn't there, look in spam or promotions and drag it to your inbox so the next ones find you.

Fair questions

Will anyone know it's me?
No. We leave out your name and change the details that would identify you or the other person.
Do you answer every submission?
No. We pick the ones that the most people are quietly living through. Either way you get the weekly email, and most weeks one of them will be close to yours.
Is this therapy?
No. It's two married people telling you honestly what they see. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number or a crisis line instead of writing to a podcast.
What if John and Nicole disagree?
They do, often. You hear both sides and you decide.
